In 2019, JOC Consulting continues to develop networks and share place making and planning expertise in Jakarta, Indonesia. We were excited to offer a place making workshop for the Green Building Council of Indonesia focusing on green communities, or making communities more green. 

The workshop leveraged the recently adopted Greenship Neighbourhoods initiative by Green Building Council of Indonesia which is their equivalent of the Australian based, Green Star Communities, a criteria to assess the planning, design and construction of large scale development projects at a precinct, neighbourhood and/or community scale. The workshop focused on exploring the Community Wellbeing Strategy component of Greenship and incorporating theory on place character, community development and planning.
